MCN-inc set for more expansion and Stephen Burke joins as new SVP Marketing and Monetisation

Mobile search company MCN has announced that Stephen Burke is the new SVP Marketing and Monetization for Mobile Content Networks and the company expects more growth and success in the coming months.
The company’s mobilesearch.net platform has been improved to support global demand with new datacenters.
Stephen’s bio:
Stephen Burke is SVP Marketing and Monetization for Mobile Content Networks (MCN). Prior to joining MCN Burke served as Chief Business Officer of mbuzzy Inc., the pioneering North American mobile social network, and is located in the San Francisco area. Burke was previously VP Product Management and Marketing for Openwave Systems.
While at Openwave he led the acquisition and integration of Magic4, Ltd, a strategic licensing agreement with QUALCOMM, and the launch of the V7 Phone Suite, the next generation middleware driving mobile internet and messaging services on handsets. Burke’s career spans 20 years in consumer electronics (with Sony) and mobile devices, middleware, networks, applications, and services.
Burke has built and led profitable international teams to launch CDMA (as GM of the Sony/QUALCOMM joint venture), mobile multimedia (as CBO of PacketVideo and president, PacketVideo Japan K.K.), wireless enterprise applications (as CEO of vVault Inc, sold in 2003), wireless broadband (as VP and director, SOMA Networks Japan KK), and at Openwave Systems.
Burke has a BA from Middlebury College in Chinese Studies and an MA from Michigan in Japanese Studies.
