Meffys winners

OK. My head is still spinning as I drank with the ME boys (Graham Ferguson, Paul Goode, Monty Munford, Balbir Blugan and loads more) until 4am this morning but I found an SMS I sent to myself with a list of names on it.

I will add all the winners later -but it has names such as Nokia, UPOC, Fun Little Movies, Zeemote, mblox, Orange, fring, thumbplay, inmobia, mmcast, on it. I presume these guys all won something last night. But I will attach the final results in the comments section.

But I was the judge for the Mobile Search and Discovery Award and the winner was: Gracenote Track ID (just been bought by SE).

OK. I am sorry that a pure mobile search player didn’t win -but I LOVE TRACK ID. It is GREAT. So a deserving winning. Perhaps though the search category next year needs to change from search and discovery to one for search and one for discovery. Because the scope for search is growing amazingly. I only say that because I remember Rimma saying that 3 new awards were created or something like that last night - so the MEFFYs is growing with demand.
