Colourbarcode
We got worried when we heard that Microsoft was delving into barcodes as the market is already crowded – but this seems to be a self fulfilling type of barcode that discloses the validation terms of new software form DVD or games. What is interesting is that the software for it will be free? But it sounds unique and not standardized…hum.

I think it is quite clear now that GoMo News is a fan of standardization having just downloaded two different readers on to a Nokia N73 and finding barcodes that I still can’t read. The capacity on the device is already near full and I am frustrated so it’s won’t be long before a lot more consumers are.
