Microsoft Musiwave?

Microsoft is considering purchasing Musiwave. This is yet another company that Microsoft is considering based in Paris (but is part of Openwave).

I know I have ranted about this in the past – but perhaps Microsoft is focusing on the innovative French market and is winning competitive advantage by purchasing companies in markets that non-native (US) competitors are wary of (Motion Bridge)?

But speculation of the French connection aside and moving to Germany, I am sure that T-Mobile’s mobile Jukebox is run by Musiwave. So the acquisition could open up new operators and markets to Microsoft.
