Mobile advertiser MADS announces its ads now reaches 60 million consumers
European mobile advertisers MADS today revealed that its platform is being used by more than 150 of Europe’s largest new media publishing houses. Over 60 million mobile owners are now being targeted with ads through the MADS network, across 15 European countries.
From the release:
“The world’s leading brands trust and utilize the MADS platform because it enables them to reach a large, high quality mobile audience with up to 10 times the ROI of traditional online advertising,” comments Ashu Mathura, CEO and founder of MADS. “MADS continues to grow from strength-to-strength due to our profound understanding of the mobile consumer, the creation of strategic partnerships with more than 100 global top-tier publishers and operators, and a history of successful campaign optimization via analytics for advertisers.”
What we think?
This is great New Years PR for MADS. 60 million is a lot of people. It’s nowhere near AdMob or Google, but MADS seem to have found themselves a solid niche in brand marketing. The problem is that there are a lot of advertisers who have found niche markets. Far too many, to be honest. Consolidation in mobile advertising is inevitable. By the end of this year, I imagine there’ll be a few less names in this area.
