OPT-IN ADVERTISING: Mobile-operator-obsessed advertiser Out There Media is announcing some great results from its deal with Asian operators such Maxis and Globe Telecom. The permission-based mobile ad platforms it has rolled out in the region saw 2.5 million customers opt-in in the first few weeks. Take up in the Philippines has been particularly good, with major brands booking nearly $4 million in advertising.
