Mobile Advertising: Chat with Marc Bookman and Tom Viswat MCN
I unfortunately sat down to some people during lunch who thought advertising was never going to get there. SMS was king and the mobile Internet was going to be engulfed by the Internet.
Oh dear. They didn’t know GoMo News and it showed!
So, I looked the handsome chappies to my left and there was Tom Viswat and Marc Bookman CEO of vertical mobile search company MCN. I quickly moved over to them and started chatting.
We did the obligatory, how is it going. I said great. I asked the same and Marc said “GREAT”. Apparently some new search deals are on the way in MCN’s favourite marketplace – the Nordics and Japan.
But after that we spoke about on how search is constantly missed from advertising and how having a niche is vital in the market moving forward. Watch out for MCN – everyone in the company is very upbeat and positive and it shows.
