Thus, the growth was well above market levels.apprupt was also able to increase headcounts in all divisions. The beginning of 2012 has already seen 33 employees working for the company, and the total workforce has grown by nearly 60 per cent over the past 12 months. Up to 15 additional hires are planned for 2012 to include the Düsseldorf office, where two employees are working at the moment.
In the 4th quarter of 2011, apprupt recorded campaign bookings from more than 80 advertisers. Jascha Samadi, managing director and founder of apprupt, explains the background: “We are seeing a strong increase in the volume of bookings through the major media agencies in Germany. Today, we cooperate with all top five agency networks – not least a clear indication of the high quality of our premium network and our enhanced customer service.” In addition, the range of advertiser industries could be greatly increased, including by clients in the travel, automotive, media and education sectors.
The strong expansion of apprupt’s advertising network has accelerated yet
again over the past year. The number of bookable environments was able to be increased fivefold. With now more than 100 premium mobile environments, apprupt was able to further increase the significant advantage it has over mobile blind networks. The second round of funding in the seven-digit euro range, which was
concluded with the existing investors T-Venture and Neuhaus Partners,
strengthens the resolve of Kjell Fischer, managing director & founder of
apprupt, in an effort to advance market penetration: “With the clear
commitment of our investors, we will continue to grow in 2012 and gradually strengthen our expertise in strategically important areas. As an organisation, we are thus in an ideal position to finish this year with a profitable business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, which represents a major milestone in our company’s nearly four-year history.”
