Mobile Advertising News in Brief – QuickPlay, Nexage, IAB

Here’s a quick round-up of the mobile advertising news from this morning:

QuickPlay (see GoMo coverage on QuickPlay here) gets USD 12 million for mobile video – read it on VentureBeat

Nexage gets USD 4 million for a mobile advertising platform – read it on Washington Post. GoMo News ponders… is this really enough when others have raised over USD 50 million?

IAB launches Help for setting up mobile ads.  Watch out GSMA and MMA – the IAB wants your space! Read the press release, or the IAB website.

One Response to Mobile Advertising News in Brief – QuickPlay, Nexage, IAB

  1. I still believe MMA guidelines are the better option to jump into the mobile arena. Mobile Marketing is not only mobile web banner. I hate when people re-invent the wheel, instead of use the knowledge already exists.
Also might introduce noise on the advertiser side.
