Vodafone and Yahoo! ad-inventory and adverts…
http://www.gomonews.com/pushing_the_barrier/2007/07/vodafone-and-ya.html

What we think?
July is where Vodafone UK managed to stab Google in the back. It signed up with Yahoo! to push ad-inventory in the UK market. Not surprising after the mess and delay Google made of the new live! portal.

Ovi by Nokia - The New Mobile Internet Brand
http://www.gomonews.com/pushing_the_barrier/2007/08/ovi-by-nokia—.html

What we think?
August was Nokia’s month. Ovi (the door) Internet brand is born and Nokia becomes an Internet company. N-gage part three also arrives and the device is replaced with an on device portal. GoMo News feels that Nokia has too many doors open and in 2008 it needs to work on building these doors into rooms that provide an eco-system and not a piecemeal internet placeholder.

http://www.gomonews.com/pushing_the_barrier/2007/09/qr-codes-coupon.html

What we think?

September was a mish mash month again with all the sweet spots of mobile advertising being touched on – but not yet developed. From ad campaigns for mobile sites to mobile coupons or dedicated mobile platforms the tracks are being laid for advertising – all that is missing is a true killer service.
