Mobile Barcode News: Microsoft Tag on Turkish Magazine

I saw a Tweet from Microsoft Tag and when I clicked the link .. (see here) http://blogs.msdn.com/tag/archive/2009/02/03/microsoft-tag-on-a-turkish-magazine.aspx

There was a picture of a magazine with a Microsoft Tag at the bottom. BUT – it was not alone. It was next to a 2D barcode.

I pause as I supress my frustration… part of me wants to shout – this is silly – why have two? Who wants two mobile barcode readers on their phone… it will be a battle getting at least on there in the first place.

But what can I do – I have been shouting for so long and no one is listening. So here is my new mantra and I would appreciate it if everyone took notice:

“OM” (repeat ten times)
“I am a mobile barcode provider in a new market” (repeat 3 times)
“OM” Repeat once and sigh
“I want to be the biggest, the fastest and the best in the West”
“I do not want anyone else to succeed and in order to do this I will focus on my own mobile barcode solutions”
“OM” (repeat three times)
“Doing this will ensure that the barcode market growth is delayed….. but I don’t care – I am the biggest, the fastest and the best in the West”.
“OM”
“Make me pure as I don’t mind that poor consumers will go crazy and turn off barcodes when the realise that they can only scan some and not all of them…… OM, OM, OM”

“I am the biggest and the fastest and the best in the West”.
Change position to Lotus and repeat 3x before bed.
