Mobile Cloud Summit hits London’s Tech City on September 21st

Press release: Conference focuses on how mobile technologies and cloud computing are coming together to transform business

Mobile Cloud Summit is bringing together technology leaders and entrepreneurs, venture capital firms and legal experts to discuss how mobility and cloud are morphing to change business and society, and how organisations need to adapt to maximise the opportunities the mobile cloud presents.

Over 25 leading speakers will be taking part in a series of discussions throughout the day that will focus on business in a hyper-mobile age, addressing concerns including security aspects of the mobile cloud, and practical issues like mobile-cloud enabled team building. The summit will also discuss whether the UK is best placed to embrace the mobile cloud opportunity, and what can be learned from other countries’ mobile cloud experiences

According to conference organiser Jeffrey Peel, from Quadriga Consulting,

“We have a stellar line-up of speakers for Mobile Cloud Summit – including leading venture capitalists like Andrea Traversone of Amadeus Capital Partners and Brian Caulfield of DFJ Esprit.  We also have the big gorilla firms that are active in mobile cloud like Cisco, Juniper, Good Technology – as well as leading integrators like Logica.  Plus the cloud and hosting sector is represented by the Cloud Industry Forum’s Chairman, Andy Burton.  Legal aspects of the cloud will be discussed by Taylor Wessing’s Technology Partner Graham Haan and we’ll have mobile analysts like Vishal Jain of The 451 Group.  Plus Bill McCluggage, Deputy CIO of the UK Government, will be providing the government’s perspective on the mobile cloud.  We’ll also have mobile advertising gurus like Paul Amsellem of Mobile Network Group.

“In short, Mobile Cloud Summit will be the first event to discuss in depth how mobility and cloud technologies are set to transform computing,  business productivity and collaboration.  The event will also be a great venue for all involved in the mobile and cloud ecosystem to meet and network.”

Mobile Cloud Summit is being held at a brand new conference venue in London’s ‘Tech City’ area of London – The Trampery in Shoreditch.  Further details of the event and booking details can be found at www.mobilecloudsummit.com .
