Rating: so many things they’re not really the same thing

By Annie Turner

Great question from the floor at the end of the JumpTap presentation, which was very general; “If mobile search is so different from online search, why is it called the same thing?”. Reply by Richard Siber, interim CMO and board member, JumpTap? “Good question. I don’t really know. Probably for the financial analysts so they have something they know.”

He also said internal forecasts for big brands say that 30-40% of them are committing ad spend to mobile. Most recent results from gaming, those in-ad games are stimulating a 5 x click through more than direct mail. Then he said this could be 1 to 5% tops. So between 5 and 15%, then?
