Mobile Marketing: Lunch with Jeremy Copp Rapid Mobile
I had a delightful lunch with Rapid Mobile’s CEO Jeremy Copp just before I left for Macau. We met in London and we both wanted to discuss where Rapid Mobile sat in the industry – if it was a mobile advertising, mobile marketing or mobile gambling player.
Jeremy walked me through the history of Rapid which began in gambling. But he said some very exciting things about how to drive revenue in mobile for customers with little know how.
So, this made me concede that Rapid is a mobile marketing player. It creates microsites that are made for mobile for companies in existing marketing sectors such as gambling to drive new income.
Rapid provides made for mobile sites that users can simply drop in their own content or add a new money driving arm to the business. Making creative campaigns is not the key service – but creating mobile sites that drive uptake of content and make revenue is the way.
In a twist to existing mobile advertising services – banners can be triggered on the Rapid Mobile Sites – but it is the sites themselves that are the cash cow for new players in mobile.
