Mobile Money round-up: Fiserv, Monitise and Indian mobile banking

dollarsign3The integration of banking services with mobile technology is one of the big movers of 2009. It is one of the few mobile services that seems like a guaranteed success from here. It’s an incredibly functional, practical use of mobile technology, that has benefited from the attention of a lot of institutions with a lot of money. Today we’ve got three stories for you – Indian banks are reporting huge uptake of mobile finances; banking tech firm Fiserv is picking up a lot of smaller American banks; and Monitise has taken complete control of Monilink.
