Mobile phones set to become bigger than cigars in Cuba

by: Bena Roberts Friday, March 28th, 2008

Cuba has lifted the countries mobile phone restrictions according to the guardian.co.uk.

The Cuban president Raul Castro said that all Cubans could use mobile phones in the next few weeks. Until now only foreign business people or communist party officials had them.

What we think?
A new revenue stream for the US has opened. More than that it will be interesting to watch uptake and penetration in the next six months when the ban is lifted.
