mobivention creates Widget application for Sunrise in Switzerland

Sunrise Quick Access Widget provides easy access to most popular entertainment areas on the Sunrise mobile portal

Cologne, Germany– 1 February 2010 – mobivention GmbH has produced a widget application for Sunrise Communications AG in Zurich, Switzerland. This widget is offering a direct connection with the Joylife Handy Fun portal for Nokia S60 smartphones.

Sunrise end consumers can discover and download a large range of mobile entertainment products like music, ringtones, mobile games and mobile themes for their phones in the Joylife Handy Fun portal. These products can be ordered and paid directly from the portal. Interested end consumers can get to this portal directly from the home screen of their mobile phones. This functionality makes the portal accessible within one click and the complicated navigation via the menu is by-passed.

Apart from that the widget has an update functionality available which enables the search and download newer versions of the application. With this update functionality changes in the portal can easily take place. This is also advantageous compared to existing On-Device portals, which have once been pre-loaded to the phone and cannot be updated in the future.
