Mobix Interactive partners with Rhythm NewMedia
Mobix Interactive - a mobile video and TV provider is partnering with Rhythm NewMedia.
We all know Rhythm NewMedia on GoMo because of its ad-funded service portfolio.
What is the new deal?
Rhythm will sell advertising into Mobix’s services (called Adrenalin). But also it will help Mobix use its own inventory with the ad serving to promote its own range of products and services.

“Rhythm NewMedia has demonstrated that they can secure a high quantity of premium advertising inventory which, coupled with the capabilities within Adrenalin, will ensure media owners can get access to both premium and ad-funded business models. It demonstrates a further step in cementing advertising as a key part of Adrenalin’s growing ecosystem,” said Damian Mulcock , CEO, Mobix Interactive.
“We are extremely excited by this burgeoning relationship and confident that, working alongside Mobix, we can offer brands the ability to better communicate with their consumers through dynamically targeted mobile ads,” commented Owen Hanks, Senior Director EMEA, Rhythm NewMedia.
What we think?
With everyone and their dog getting on the video ad serving band wagon - differentiation is going to be tough. I can think of three related stories I have written on video/ ads and mobile in the past week. But saying that I do like the idea of Mobix using Rhythm to push its own portfolio. Because this tackles the brand inventory and promotion model.
I say it time and time again - only the media provider that can guarantee clicks and traffic to content will benefit or succeed down the road.
