Month of Mobiles continues, as T-Mobile launches Dash 3G
The unstoppable parade of new mobile devices continues with T-Mobile launching the successor to it’s earlier Dash model - the Dash 3G. It’s a Windows Mobile phone with a slab design, looking remarkably similar to Blackberrys and the Nokia E72
As a non-touchscreen device with a smaller screen and a full QWERTY keyboard, the Dash 3G will have the same focus as the original model - messaging and emails. It’s 3G and Wi-Fi enabled, and comes with a rather nice little tracker-ball for navigation.
T-Mobile hasn’t announced a price yet, but have said it will reaching shelves in July.

What we think?
This design of phone suffers from the same problem as full-touch smartphones do - it’s incredibly hard to differentiate them from competitors. Slab design enterprise phones all end up looking incredibly similar. Just compare it with the E72 and Blackberry curve here:
That aside, this is a fine device. The Dash was a popular design, and the 3G hasn’t really changed much - it’s just taken what it already had and modernised it.
