Telenor More Mobile Advertising Company acquires Finnish technology firm Add2Phone

More Mobile Relations is indeed the fastest growing mobile marketing company in Europe. It has purchased everyone.

Now it has taken over the Finnish Add2Phone.

It seems that Add2Phone is a technology company.  It has been in business since 2000. It develops platforms for mobile advertising and solutions and I think mobile sites as well.

From the press release

“Right from day one, More’s strategy has been to include a leading technical platform in its Nordic group. We aim to be number one in the Nordic region. Because we’ll be running several projects in different countries, we need a technical platform with high expertise and reliability. We’ve found this in Add2Phone,” says Anders Børde, Marketing Director for More Mobile Relations Group.

What we think?
Telenor is ambitious and when it does something it doesn’t do it half heartedly. This is proven by the number of companies it has acquired and its desire to be the leader for mobile advertising in the Nordics.

But now it has the meat I will be keeping my eye open on the execution of the new mobile advertising business.
