mPals.mobi mobile social networking site
Rating: users need to stick not simply tune in and out

You have to applaud any start-up that tries to launch a mobile only social networking site. It’s a tough market. It is also a monster market than every man and his friend want to be involved in.
mPals.mobi touches the surface of social networking. It will probably evolve but at the moment its more of a social profiling and “show-off” site.
Users are encouraged to sign-up and create a profile. Cash prizes are offered to the top three most creative profiles and this will muster up some excitement for the service.
Features of the new site include image uploads, music, uploads, video uploads, friends and messaging. It all sounds great. But, and it is a big but; a lot of social networking depends on the user to come back and come back again. With the explosion of mobile sites is simple to join, create a profile and then forget about it.
Social networking sites are failing in really connecting and engaging youth. Simply offering cash for creating profiling is OK – but it doesn’t go far enough.
