Much rumored Motorola Zeppelin Android phone may be appearing at Mobile World Congress

The “Zeppelin” has been a much rumored device over that last few months. It also seems to be a codename for two different Android devices from Motorola – a working name for the recently launched XT800 in Asia, and a similar device for the Western market. And according to the rumors, this Western Android should be coming to MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona next month.

What’s the skinny?

Back in October of last year, the Zeppelin was spotted as a name on a leaked roadmap of Motorola products for 2010. And now, thanks to details leaking from Mobile.cz, we seem to have a pic and some specs.

It looks like a fairly regular high-end smartphone from this distance: 3.2-inch touchscreen, with some buttons below. Internet connectivity and GPS, with a 5MP camera. TMO News was happy enough to confirm that this is definitely the Motorola Zeppelin – but as with most stories of this nature you just can’t be certain until Motorola pulls the curtain back.
