Rating: Brought GoMo News to you from literally anywhere

I really should give a shameless plugĀ  to the Huawei E220 HSDPA USB modem which has provided me with access when all other modes of communication have struggled. It’s been kindly loaned to me by the GSMA and Vodafone Spain.
Installation of this modem was literally a piece of cake. All I did was plug the device into a USB port on my Windows Vista powered laptop and the necessary software -Vodafone Mobile Connect Modem, loads directly. That’s because it acts like a memory stick as well as a modem. Pop your SIM card into a tray that slides into the side of the modem and you’re in business. All you need is the PIN number printed on the back of the SIM card holder.
And do you want to know the real beauty of all this? The connexion looks as fast as any ADSL link I’ve ever use. Thanks again the GSMA.
