MWC: Pitch to GoMo News with Golan Shaked VP Media Services Celltick

by: Bena Roberts Thursday, February 14th, 2008

As usual I didn’t beat around the bush when I met Golan Shaked VP Media Services from Celltick. Instead I said instantly, are you finally getting it right with Celltick.

The response was positive and Golan explained how Celltick has moved from a mobile technology company to a media company. Its license fee model has been replaced with revenue share.

On top of that company ideology is changing from providing a means to creating an eco-system.

Celltick’s use of idle screen technology is now more focused than ever to becoming a rich media provider  - where the technology is vital but only a part of the overall offer. The user experience is the core focus and engaging operators and media companies is essential.

But what I found on top of this that Golan was convinced of the idle screen and the future of Celltick – this is such a great asset.

More on metrics from campaigns as we get it.
