Some of the biggest names in mobile turned out to Incognito bar in Barcelona tonight for the biggest GoMo News Blender we’ve ever seen. Gurus from advertising, marketing, blogging, development, operators, infrastructure and more turned out in droves to drink the cellar dry. Literally: the crowd actually drank the bar out of beer.
GoMo News wants to thank its beautiful sponsors from the bottom its heart: Smaato and Diffusion PR. In particular David Ross-Tomlin and Miriam “Ms. Smaato” Hoppe, who tirelessly guarded the front door with me for hours. Over 400 people attended the event, which filled both floors of the venue. Our attendee list is too good to go over in full here (although Smaato is compiling a full list), but a small section includes reps from Orange and Alactel Lucent, as well as bloggers like James Whatley and Helen Keegan.
Attendance at the GoMo News Blenders has climbed steadily year after year, and it is now firmly in place as one of the best casual networking (and drinking) events to go to over Mobile World Congress.
