Apparently, AdMob has enabled click to video advertisement service via mywaves video channels.
Click to video ads will be launched this summer and users that click on the video ads will be directed to an AdMob landing page. Apparently if consumers like what they see they will be able to pass on the video advertising to friends? Yeah right! As if someone is going to pay for an MMS to send advertising to friends? It better be bloody good advertising that is for sure.

Seriously, viral advertising will only work with a money back incentive and at the moment there isn’t one.
GoMo News met mywaves earlier this month at the Orange Partner Camp and was impressed by the service and indeed mywaves needs to generate revenues from it services. But I spoke at length about admob to competitors at The Mobile Search Conference in London also earlier this month and apparently admob is the Only Fools and Horses of the mobile marketing space with words such as relevancy void from its market initiative.

What do we think?
