MyxerMagic is a free download that lets users send any online image to their mobile phone from the web browser. MyxerMagic is a browser extension currently available for free at http://www.myxermagic.com. Once downloaded in a couple of clicks it adds a “send image to phone” command. All images will be re-sized or shaped to fit to the mobile screen. The service works on all devices regardless of mobile operator. New features such as sending audio and RSS to the phone will also be launched.

This is mobile picture blogging with a twist. Instead of sending pictures from the phone instantly to a blog – pictures are sent to the phone from the web browser. This is cool. Users can save anything they like from user generated content or clips that will further enable personalization of the mobile device or something else to “show off” about.

From the press release:
“Myxer is about more than just customizing your mobile phone with ringtones and wallpapers – it’s really about leveraging the respective strengths of the internet and the mobile phone to make digital content easily discoverable and accessible anywhere you are,” said Myk Willis, founder and chief technology officer of mVisible Technologies, Inc., the company behind Myxer. “MyxerMagic completely rewrites the rules of how user-generated content is consumed, because for the first time ever, all digital content is one click away from being mobile content.”

MyxerMagic is the latest addition to the Myxer portfolio, which is designed to simplify the creation and delivery of mobile content. Independent creators of music, ringtones, images and more can now quickly and easily make, share and sell to the mobile marketplace. Myxer’s stronghold is the independent music industry, where thousands of independent artists and their fans communicate and share content using the internet and mobile phones. Myxer is well positioned, with leading research predicting that global mobile music revenues will top $13.7 billion this year, with that number reaching $32 billion by 2010. Worldwide mobile music phone sales will reach 618 million units in 2007, and push towards $1 billion by 2010.
