New Google search features for US BlackBerry users

Google continue to improve it’s mobile search solution. Just two weeks ago it announced updates to it’s homepage for a quicker load time.

Now Google has released a number of improvements to it’s mobile search results for US BlackBerry users. The improvements are designed to help make you get the “information you want more easily“.

They say:

Improved comprehensiveness: Our mobile search now incorporates results from Product Search, Blog search, News archives search, and more.

Blended results: Instead of showing you web, image, local and news results in separate sections, we now combine them to improve relevance. We’ve also made it easier for you to focus your search on any one of these categories — notice how the links are now placed at the top of the results page.

Longer snippets: Web results include longer snippets so that your answer may be right on the results page.

Related searches: At the bottom of the search results page, you’ll find a list of related searches to help you refine a query.

There is a demo video of a search in progress which you can see here. It looks fast and the search seems much more integrated with its “blended results”. It looks a pretty BlackBerry perfect search tool if I’m honest. As it’s US only I cant try it but if any of you would like to give it a go and leave a comment with your thoughts/experiences we would love to hear from you.

Point your BlackBerry Browser to google.com and search!!!!!
