New partnership will see AdMarvel mobile advertising content moved through ClearSky
ClearSky Mobile Media has entered into a partnership with mobile advertising server AdMarvel. The deal will see inventory from AdMarvel clients get moved to Clearskys large community of regional operators. Clearsky specialises in data services for carriers, in areas like downloadable content, mobile web browsing, MMS services, mobile billing and reporting.
In return, AdMarvel claims it will offer better targeting and metrics for adverts both on- and off-deck.
From the release:
“As we strive to deliver unmatched analytics and ad revenue results to a wide range of players in the ad ecosystem, our partnership with ClearSky allows us to extend our services to millions of additional consumers,” said Mark Fruehan, AdMarvel’s EVP of Sales & Business Development. “Our full suite of services, designed to put ad traffic owners in control of their performance, is a perfect match for ClearSky’s proven track record, large market share and industry-leading portfolio.”
“As advertisers and the media scramble to take advantage of this rapidly-growing mobile market, ClearSky has aligned with AdMarvel to optimize advertising opportunities and provide yet another revenue engine to drive carrier clients’ data ARPU ever higher,” said Tony Tagliareni, ClearSky’s EVP of Sales & Marketing.
What we think?
Another large advertiser seals a deal with a large content manager - more ads are served across more mobile networks; mobile billing services continue to become that bit more integrated and international; detailed metrics are further built into the system so advertisers can actually know what they’re doing. There’s very little interesting to say about this deal, but what little there is is all good. Or, at least, not bad.
