Rating: Don’t you just love the industry jargon?
Hot on the heels of an announcement that had tools for Android handsets (see here), Nexage www.Nexage.com will announce a similar SDK for the Apple iPad as well as the availability of its Nexage Campaign Manager.
To use the industry jargon, the Nexage Campaign Manager will enable publishers to “flight” the mobile ad campaigns that they have sold. By which we asssume they mean schedule and control.
Anyway, the Campaign Manager works with rich media across all mobile platforms and devices and integrates with Nexage’s AdMax ad-optimisation platform.
The company claims Campaign Manager addresses demand from the publishers amongst its customerbase who are seeking a more comprehensive solution for monetising their inventory.
Nexage CEO, Dev Gandhi, commented, “Our newest tools demonstrate Nexage’s commitment to offering comprehensive solutions that support every major device, operating system, and platform, to make it easier for publishers and mobile ad network partners to be successful in monetising their mobile web and application inventory.”
The release of Nexage’s iPad SDK comes just in time for the launch of Apple’s iPad device on April 3 2010. The company claims the SDK will enable developers and publishers to take advantage of the larger form factor of Apple’s tablet computer in order to provide more effective advertising.
Incidentally, developers who are intending to visit CTIA might fancy popping along to the Nexage booth for a tutorial and Q&A session for developers on launching Android apps with the Nexage Android SDK or the open API on Tuesday, March 23rd.
