No Internet access is a total no-no

Rating: why I’d rather be in Bulgaria

So Bena is lunching with Steve Ballmer and all eyes are on our blog and I’m stuck with rotten or non-existent Internet access in the hotel officially recommended by the Mobile Web Americas event I’m attending here in Orlando. How impressive is that? I was in Bulgaria last week which is still a struggling economy after years of communist domination. Internet access was free of charge and worked really well - an hour and a half Skype call was no problem at all and how I wish I were still there. Forget the Wombles’ Uncle Bulgaria who was always behind The Times – now it’s the Disney resort that stuck in the 20th century.

More to come as soon as I’m able – I’ve just been offered yet another room and dial-up access. Oh Varna.
