No luck of the Irish

by: Bena Roberts Monday, July 14th, 2008

Have arrived in Dublin on my way to Waterford. Sorry for boring everyone but I need to vent my frustration!

My iPhone is disabled - I have no idea what to do it keeps saying try again in 60 minutes?

There is like no Wifi. I am at a terminal from Eircom in Dublin Heuston Station - which is like horrible. There is a huge sign saying “WiFi - www.eircom.ie/hotspot.

I am standing next to it - do you think that my Dell can find the hotspot? NO. I ask at information and the man says - yes - we have a huge problem here.

OK.

So I start to look for a plug at least then I can work on my PPT’s. I am not joking - you have to see the heels I am wearing and the train information man points me to the darkest corner of the train station next to the toilets and says “that is the only plug”.

Yikes!
