Rating: Use Wi-FI or have a good data plan as the file is 2MB in size.
Nokia have released a software update for N78.
The update includes “improved stability with Bluetooth (headsets and car kits) and music (playback over a long time and content refresh). This release also includes optimized Camera performance and Naviscroll sensitivity improvements.”
The update is only available for download over the air either via your network/operator or Wi-Fi. You can not use the Nokia Software Update application. If you are going to do this through your operator remember they charge for Data so make sure you have a plan that can handle the 2MB file or better still use Wi-Fi.
To update your N78 go to Menu > Tools > Utilities > Device Manager. Select Options > Check for updates and follow the on-screen prompts.

my n78 can’t update using the pc or ota.why is that happen? It’s only show update failed(using pc) and no update(ota)
when im downloading stuff from the internet my phone does not want to install them,it just says ‘Certificate error.
My phone won’t want to update via my PC
The whole point is that the update is delivered over the airwaves (OTA) which is the alternative to delivering it by a connexion between the handset and a computer. So we are not surprised it doesn’t work. Does that help?
