Nokia Ovi on T-Mobile – Do we care?

by: Bena Roberts Friday, May 2nd, 2008

First T-Mobile apparently says NO to Ovi.

Then Nokia gets all upset.

Then T-Mobile denies being mean about Ovi.

Then (today) T-Mobile and Nokia will offer Ovi via Web ‘n’ walk – which means that all is rosie in operator and manufacturer land again.

Conclusion: Do we care? Um. Actually, I am all confused.

Ovi is the door to the Internet. Um. So is Web ‘n’ walk? So do two wrongs make a right?

I feel like banging Nokia’s and T-Mobile’s heads together. Are we fighting the same cause? Don’t we want to “up the mobile Internet revolution?”

So, sort it out and let’s put brand names behind strong, good mobile internet experiences. On top of that Nokia already has a brand why it wants another one is beyond me.
