o2 Bluebook

Perhaps I just have a filthy mind? But BlueBook sounds like something smutty to me.  Isn’t Blue the code name for porn? I have to be honest being a mother of two – if my kids said “mum, can I have a bluebook” or “can I sign up to bluebook”.  I would have to check the smut factor just to make sure.

But obviously O2 doesn’t agree and its going to spend GBP 4.5 million on a marketing campaign to push the mobile social network with (the operators secret weapon).

What I hear everyone scream is this secret weapon?

Well it’s blogging.

Get this. Not only can consumers’ blog daily. But (wait for it) if the blog is good it might get into the “hot” or “favourites” section.

Now if that isn’t worth signing up for porn book yikes!! Bluebook then what is.

From the release

The creative leads with the message, ‘Nothing is Lost’, and the TV ad shows a woman collecting messages and photos in a number of magical ways and then storing them in a scrapbook of memories – her Bluebook.
