Since GoMo News started its move to save the world via mobile there has been a steady stream of announcements in this area.

Now Orange has announced that it will launch of a mobile phone charger powered by wind energy. Apparently this is the not the first and Orange boasts a strong working relationship with the University of Texas. For example, Orange has introduced a few Green mobile services from Text Me Home Dome and the Solar Powered Tent.

The Wind Charger will be on display at the Glastonbury Festival in Somerset.

What we think
A few years ago at CeBit O2 gave me a wind up mobile phone charger which I still use and these forms of energy saving initiatives are simply marvellous.
