Orange Romania launches unlimited mobile voice and internet package

Orange Romania has announced its new “Home&Office Pack” tariff. The deal offers unlimited calls between your fixed line and up to 50 Orange mobile numbers. It also offers unlimited internet, with the caveat that if you use a truly huge amount of data, your connection speed will eventually be dropped.

The free minutes to 50 pre-chosen mobile numbers can be used when and how you want - but Orange is also offering 1,000 minutes to any national fixed network. The price for the plan ranges between 12 and 36 euros per month, with the lower prices getting fewer mobiles on their “free calls” list and fewer free minutes. Mobile web access is the same for any price band: you get a 3G connection with a limit of 3GB. Except that when you hit that limit, you’re not cut off. You’re just dropped from a 7.2 Mbps connection to a 128Kbps connection, like a bartender saying “sir, I think you’ve had enough”

Orange is also offering a free 15 day test-drive of the service.
