Orange signs 5 year infrastructure sharing agreement with Yoigo
Focusing on the quality of the network – fourth mobile operator in Spain Yoigo, which was going to be called Xfera has signed an agreement with Orange (used to be Amena) for network sharing across the whole of Spain.
From the press release
“The signature of this agreement allows us to continue optimizing our respective networks deployment in the whole Spain. The collaboration between both companies has the objective to continue improving the services that we offer to our customers and in addition, this agreement limits the environmental impact of the infrastructure, necessary for the presentation of the mobile services. “, said Jean Marc Vignolles, Managing Director of Orange.
Johan Andsjö, Managing Director of the mobile operator Yoigo, commented: “Thanks to this agreement, Yoigo will give another step in the evolution of its coverage in Spain, since having shared the emplacements with Orange, we will be able to do it in a more rapid way. In addition, it is a sample of our commitment with the society, since there diminishes the number of necessary stations with the corresponding benefit for the environment”
