Orange Spain attempts to lure customers with free, unlimited mobile internet

Oranges spanish branch has apparently introduced a summer bargain for contract subscribers. So long as you connect via the Orange World mobile portal, you have free access to as much music, gaming and TV content as you like. On the Orange World Portal.

The deal applies to new or existing contracts with Orange – so it’s aimed at keeping people with Orange as much as it is at attracting new customers.

What we think?

There’s no such thing as “free” internet. This service really depends on how good the content on the Orange World portal is in Spain. But ultimately it’s a fairly poor offering -  people don’t like having their choices constrained on-line. “Free”  doesn’t mean the same thing as “unlimited“, and this service is pretty limited.
