Out there Media sign up Coca Cola for Mobile Advertising Campaign

First it was ScreenTonic, then it was AdMob, then it was Xendex and now it’s Out There Media’s turn to run a Coca Cola campaign.
Out There Media will create and deliver an advertising campaign “My Coke Music” in Austria using its MoBucks platform. The advertising camping will link adverts on the mobile deck of Vodafone Live! (A1) from within the Music and Games section. Once clicked the adverts will be pushed to a Coca-Cola landing page where they can enter a unique code (found on cans) to win festival tickets.
From the press release
Alexandra Deutsch, Managing Director of Out There Media Austria commented: “We are very proud to have launched this powerful mobile advertising campaign for Coca-Cola. With this project we demonstrate how to successfully transfer an existing promotion to the mobile phone by delivering a very strong and effective brand experience to the user.”
“Coca Cola is always interested in taking up innovative advertising and communication opportunities. Hence the concept of Out There Media was very exciting to us from the beginning”, says Stephan Czypionka from Coca Cola. “We are looking forward to new ideas for innovative marketing by Out There Media to further push our brands.”
What we think?
Coca Cola is going local and even though it is partnering a lot its because it prefers local adverts and advertisers. GoMo News loves Austria and once saw Simply Red in the town square in Salzburg which was an amazing experience. Therefore, festival sponsoring during the summer is always a good move.
