Rating: he!p app from RW Lynch worth checking out
Here’s an interesting one. A Californian based advertising an marketing group RW Lynch has decided to develop an iOS app, ‘he!p’, to help people out in the event of a medical emergency. GoMobile News has encountered such an app before in the shape of iice SOS (see here). However, this app takes advantage of the location based capabilities of iPhones. We also like the idea of having one app which not only stores all your vital personal health data but also enables you to search for nearby A&E facilities; a chemist; or the police station. Given that RW Lynch works closely with personal injury lawyers, we bet he!p can find one of those, too.In terms of functionality, we’re impressed that the app includes checklists for what to do in the event of an accident.
Each checklist has vital, time-sensitive steps for treatment and actions to take after car accidents, slips dog bites and other incidents.
The app also lets users search for product recalls, including those that affect products users own or utilise.
“Smartphone and tablet users bring their devices everywhere,” observed Kim Cabot, director of marketing and marketing product at RW Lynch.
“During an emergency, these devices become the first step to finding help. The he!p app was designed to simplify the process of locating emergency services and communicating pertinent medical information,” Cabot added.
This app does reflect other areas of RW Lynch’s expertise in advertising. Its ‘Golden List’ offering provides clients with a comprehensive dashboard of real-time ad responses.
Plus the company claims its ‘TakeAim Algorithm’ is a one-of-a-kind industry tool it developed to translate audience feedback into adaptive advertising intelligence.
