Phling! The music brand from Oxy Systems has announced MusicStash.
What is it?
It lets a phling! mobile music service subscriber stream music from their phone to the PC.
From the press release
Leveraging Amazon Web Services as the storage medium, the phling! MusicStash is a user’s personal storage “locker” where they can upload and store favorite music tracks for anytime playback via their mobile phone.
Oxy Systems’ President and CEO, Mike Krasner, said, “We successfully launched the phling! MusicLounge service in Switzerland last year on the Orange , Swisscom Mobile , and Sunrise mobile networks in partnership with Edipresse , the French language media giant. Since then we have listened to the feedback from our subscribers and are now revealing the MusicStash service, which meets the needs of those subscribers who prefer to turn off their PC while away from the home.”
Continuing, Krasner added, “With our focus firmly on usability and our users, we strive to continually add new features and capabilities to the phling! mobile music suite. Critically, we let users listen, share and discover music via the mobile device, however we’re particularly proud of the fact that unlike other services, phling! gives consumers access to the music they already own as well as to indie bands’ music and Internet radio.”
What we think?
Hmm, its time for a phling! account as I have to test this out!
