Ping Mobile Unveils Strategic Partnership to Provide Marketing Solutions to Advertisers

Ping Mobile, a full-service mobile agency is partnering with Cox Media to offer mobile marketing and advertising options to its advertising and media clients.
So what is new?
Apparently this is a strategic collaboration between a cable company and a mobile marketing company. The partnership will allow the media company to serve TV SMS ads to viewers in return viewers get mobile coupons with special offers.

Shira Simmonds, CEO of Ping Mobile, said “The partnership is an opportunity for both companies to provide a unique, interactive and results-oriented media outlet to clients who are looking for quantifiable results from their traditional media campaigns.”
“The instant turn around of the coupons by text messaging was a great new avenue of advertising,” said Dave McDonald, Vocelli Franchisee Owner. “Customers were able to receive their coupon right away to redeem and it brought more residential customers to my business which was my ultimate goal.”
Ping Mobile credits high conversion rates to their method of SMS distribution, which ensures the right messages are being sent to the right consumers. Ping Mobile’s proprietary back-office campaign management solution, called PingSuite™, is designed to automate the delivery of the text messages but is flexible enough to be customized in real-time if needed. The platform automatically and randomly chooses the winner for each week of the campaign. In addition, the PingSuite™ system only sends messages to those customers who specifically double opt-in to each specific client.

TV, coupons, SMS, mobile coupled with instant turn around and op-in only. Sounds like a winner. But will consumers take the bait?
