Pitch your mobile application at Under the Radar
Hello all mobile developers! GoMo News will be attending the Under the Radar convention in Mountain View, California on the 19th of this month. The event is focused at shining the light on early stage innovation in the mobile space - and GoMo News will be on stage during an event for app developers called the FAST PITCH. Want to learn more? Read on.
What is Under the Radar?
It’s an event that aims to take mobile start-ups and put them in contact with the people who can make their small business into a big one. Operators, advertisers, brands, media and manufacturers attend the event to see and meet the up and comers. Under the Radar claims that of the 400 startups have presented there since the beginning, 54% have gotten support or funding from attendees.
So what’s this FAST PITCH thing then?
Under the Radar and IntoMobile have gotten together this year for an event to really shine the spotlight on hot new apps. There will be a panel of judges on-stage (including myself). And pitching to both us and the audience, live, will be 6 developers with really extraordinary apps. But when we say FAST, we mean it. Here are the pre-reqs:
- you get two minutes… yes that’s two… to pitch your app to us.
- you can have up to four slides to accompany your pitch
- obviously, you need to have someone at the conference to do the presentation
So how do you get on stage with us to do your pitch? Step one is to leave a comment on this page. Leave us a quick, one line pitch with your contact details (email and, if you want, social network) and a link. Developers who have been chosen to pitch will be contacted directly by either GoMo News or the Under The Radar team. If you are the pitcher, you get your day pass to the event for free.
And here from Under the Radar are the criteria for the apps:
• Must be able to attend Under the Radar (be in Mountain View on Nov 19)
• Has to be live and able to be downloaded
• Can be for any OS - iPhone, Windows Mobile, Android, Symbian, etc
• Must be unique and new – does it make people saw wow!
• Will make people say, “how did I live without this before?!”
• Can be pitched in 2 min on stage
