I clicked through because after reading yesterday that Mippin is reporting up to 15% click-through rate on their targeted banner ads I thought the poll might be about context vs content (don’t know why).

TBH - I don’t think the delivery method matters at all. Whether it matters to me is the most important thing. Show me an ad by carrier pigeon if you like, but if there’s context, there’s no click.
