Quattro is expanding its mobile advertising network globally

Posted by Cian on Feb 6, 2009 15:02

Quattro Wireless today announced an expansion of it’s mobile ad network across Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Asia. Up until now, Quattro has focused on Fortune 500 brands and direct marketers. Now the Quattro network will now include both International- and country-specific publishers and advertisers.

From the release:

“Mobile has a global audience and Quattro has extended its industry-defining premier network to reach it,” said Andrew Miller, chief executive officer of Quattro Wireless.  “It is a natural evolution to provide our experience, innovation, service and reach to brands and direct marketers on the global stage.  Given the current economic climate, it is an especially opportune time for Quattro to demonstrate to marketers around the world, how mobile, and Quattro, can deliver unprecedented reach, targeting and positive ROI.”

What we think?

After Quattro expanded north into Canada last year I guess it was only a matter of time until it moved off-continent as well. Quattro could make quite an impact in Europe. It’s Microsoft deal has made it easier than ever to run a massive branded marketing campaign. I wonder how much of a foothold it’ll find here. It’s not like Europe has a lack of mobile advertisers. Strong, multi-device advertising is always going to appeals to brands, especially with the portfolio that Quattro already has.
