Rock your phone Germany with mobile advertising

Rock Your Mobile has announced a new mobile advertising solution. It’s called Call n Cash.

What?

Actually its quite fun. Instead of banners and the rest of this mobile consumers see adverts when they are dailing numbers. It’s a strange twist to the idle screen as its sort of a dial screen mobile ad filler.

BUT… and there always is but.
Consumers that use the service will actually get paid for watching the ads when they dial? This sounds a bit messy. It also sounds as though the technology isn’t all there yet and the payment mechanism is a sweetener to counter any trouble.

From the press release
Along with the Call’n Cash technology, comes a dedicated database with simple usability including web-based user registration, statistical analysis for the advertisers, and user account balance information with possible connections to web-based sales tools. Integrated into the mobile’s software client is an advertisement limiter as well as the necessary viewer for the advertisement image formats. Additionally, location based services can be integrated to allow direct regional marketing.
Supported device types: Symbian Smartphones Nokia Series60, S60 3rd Edition and UIQ as well as the majority of Java-based mobile phones.

What we think?
We are going to check it out first and will report back.
