Rating: check-in from your car

By Annie Turner, chief globetrotter

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has launched SAS.mobi, the mobile version of its web site with features including check-in, timetables, flight status and EuroBonus, the SAS frequent flyer program.

The SAS.mobi site was created by Swedish mobile portal developers, Adimo (http://adimo.mobi).

All of which is terrifically jolly, but my most recent problems with international air travel (admittedly not with SAS) include acute food poisoning, unscheduled overnight stays, singing pilots and ground staff who look like they haven’t smiled since circa 1978. And .mobi ain’t gonna fix any of those. Still, suppose it will be nice to know how late your plane is.
