Scoop! Orange to launch Application Shop and Orange World stats
Rating: sounds fantastique!

Steve Glagow Director of Orange Partner camp is a relaxed, passionate and switched on guy. We also like him as he gave us our first scoop here at the Orange Partner camp in Florida.
In about six weeks a new application shop will be launched with a search engine that will enable consumers to discover and find “no-name” or little known applications in niche product areas.
Why is this good?
Well basically, there are thousands of applications. Orange alone has 52,000 partners involved in its developer programme and lots of content that is not visible. The shop (we believe will like a vertical mobile search engine) is going to index all the applications. This means that all applications will be in one space or cheaper than the more expensive applications for bigger brands.
We are going to test the service a bit later on today and we will report back.
Also in the best mobile panel of the morning Tariq Rajat, Senior Technical Consultant gave us some great stats about Orange World:
1 million users a week
18 million page impressions
14 million customized preferences
peak time 400 hits per second.
There was a lot more on content adaptation, mobile search and mobile advertising that I will explore in the Mobile Search Analyst.
