SingTel offers free ad based mobile email

All contract customers on Singtel Asia will be offered free email services if they accept receiving mobile text and graphic advertisements. The service is called MobileMail and all emails will be pushed side by side with an ad.

Users that don’t want advertising will need to pay for the service.

What we think
Email is personal advertising is not –you would have to be young and poor to say yes to this. GoMo News is not singing praises.
